This new test claims to accurately measure thought processing speed by taking a reading of the speed at which we hear.

Of course, any test which is designed to calculate intelligence on any level will be completely arbitrary, due to the fact that we lack a comprehensive definition for the term "intelligence" to begin with. In theory, and under certain conditions, this test should be a fairly stable and unbiased measure of... uh... something.
Once we can all agree on what intelligence really means, then we can figure out how to measure it.
