Nature.

New evidence exists for the idea that the genetic component has a heavy hand in influencing our behaviors and abilities. Thanks to Katherine for this one.

Proving, once again, that people will take any opportunity to blame their behavior on anything but themselves.

One can't wait to hear the "my genes made me do it" defense in court.

Since genes control personality, obviously nobody can be "insane" as we know it. No, everybody is "biologically challenged", and all mental illnesses should be treated from the perspective of physical medicine.

Psychologists should all retire.

And people, well, since external physical factors control who you are, why even try?

Don't fight it. You can't change who you're destined to be.

So why feel guilty for sating any desire?

There are no morales. There are only external forces that shape your every action.

You're just being you. Hey, you didn't decide who you are!

Excuse me while I go read Nietzche's Will to Power to recover from this tripe.
